We envision a future when former Members design their post-congressional careers as steps up into new senior leadership roles in boardrooms, newsrooms, and other civic institutions. In those encore careers, they reinforce the pillars of democracy against rising authoritarianism.
Today, Encore provides the community and resources for former Members to chart that course to greater public impact beyond office.
About Encore
Encore Public Service Partners is a new, nonpartisan initiative focused on supporting senior and former Members of Congress in their encore careers.
We partner with Members who are already pursuing impact after elected office or starting to think about their next chapter and how they can advance the causes they care about in new ways.
Conversations with Encore are confidential, and we do not disclose names externally without explicit permission.

We are especially interested in partners in philanthropy, investing, startups, media, higher education, pro-democracy efforts, and civic organizations.
